Made in the Shade of Annapolis is locally owned by The Johnson Family. Residents of Shady Side, Maryland for more than 32 years, The Johnsons are connected to Annapolis-area residents, and have been active members of the community. The Johnsons are no strangers to a family-owned business having built and continuing to operate a highly successful home remodeling company-Tilesmith, Inc.

Leslie and Elizabeth Johnson, along with two of their sons, Maxwell and Mitchell, look forward to providing top-notch service to their clients. We understand that being able to build relationships with people is important—and we are always here at your service. Who We Are – The Johnson Family

Leslie was a member of the Air Force & Air National Guard for 21 years and retired shortly after September 11, 2001. After being stationed all over the world, his last stop was Andrews Air Force Base where he met Elizabeth. Elizabeth administers retirement plans and just celebrated her 30th anniversary with her company.

Their two sons, Maxwell and Mitchell, bring a wealth of experience to Made in the Shade of Annapolis having worked side-by-side with Leslie in their home remodeling business. Maxwell also brings a business education, while Mitchell’s education is in marketing. Both are highly skilled remodelers, and they look forward to putting their talents to work for you.
